Great topic/question. Hard to think of one, but I'm cheap. I probably haven't played the best candidates because I never really spend more than 4 or 5 bucks, max, on a game. And even that's rare. So. My answer, in short: Blah, blah, blah, blah. Blah.
Sega Genesis Collection like the one for PS2 and PSP. It's around $20 for the best 29 Genesis games. With 60fps framerate and even some bonus content. Fvck Sega for fooling around.
An official Advance Wars game with a built in level editor, a way to submit your maps to the server and download others' maps from the server, and asynchronous online multiplayer utilizing push notifications. Hey, I can dream . And I do realize that Uniwar has asynchronous online multiplayer utilizing push notifications. Edit: Oh wait . . . is this a thread about games already on the App Store that you would have bought for that price? Never mind then . . .
- The Quest can be a DS game easily with all the expansion packs it has. It could even be a console game if it had modern graphics or was released a few generations ago. - Defender Chronicles could make it as well, possibly with a few more maps. - Zenonia and Hybrid are very close, they just need to be ~10 hours longer and have music tracks that go more than 10 seconds before looping.
i'd say gta chinatown wars and assassins creed 2. i know you guys are gonna go on about me but lets face it: they're the only games with enough content/quality to be worth the price of DS game. i think soosiz may fit due to the large amount of levels, though maybe the graphics would need to be polished up a bit to put on ds (slightly 2.5 d maybe?)
lol fail fail and more fail and i havent gotten any games i would say are worth $20,30,40. There were alot of game with potential though...
