I don't know how different this is from the Kongregate version, but it's a real CCG, not a "screen saver", if you know what I mean. Fun game on Kongregate.

This is true. I played it for a long time on Kongregate. I stopped playing when they made the business model more greedy. But I'm curious to see how the app is done.

Played it for 20 minutes, and it's pretty fun. Unfortunately, there's not that much strategy involved as I remember from the flash game, but you still need to choose your cards wisely in the later levels.

As I feared, the business model is pretty greedy. To buy rare cards, you need 50 war bonds. You can buy 50 war bonds in the store for $5(/$6?) IIRC. That's way too expensive. It also has timers, but those don't ruin the game. Yet.

There are some differences compared to the flash game. I also don't remember the fusion option and if you buy a pack, you get only 1 card. In the flash game you get 5 cards or so in one pack. And I don't see any "Faction" option in the app, and factions were pretty fun to communicate and chat with other players.

overall, it's pretty fun, but the game is greedy. I'm worried that the greediness and the timers will end up in a big paywall.

This gets good reviews on the AppStore...
But I don't understand what is the big deal here?
You put cards out, and they move along and shoot the other cards/player, until someone dies first.

I just don't see the strategy here. Could be a delete from me.
Plus the writing at times is impossible on the iPhone (deck editor)

The original flash game was one of my favorite games on kongrate, I'm kinda psyched that this has surfaced in the appstore.

I hope the greedyness doesn't gets unbearable.
