THIS. IS. MY. GOTD (game of the device). Armored Core (visuals & design) meets Mech Warrior combat (relatively slow paced, more realistic and less convoluted). Words fail to capture how overjoyed I am.
Talk about a full package! This looks fantastic, and developing a graphic novel and soundtrack with it is simply impressive. I am absolutely looking forward to getting all of this, and participating as soon as all of this hits release - ASAP I hope.
Holy sh**!! Someone just had a boom-boom! I now have a reason for a new iPad! I wonder if TDK is one of the evil corporations?
Shut up and take my money! Your developer blog is simply amazing. Thank you for letting us into your little team.
Thanks everyone! Just wanted to drop in an message to say a big thank you to everyone for the support, this thread kept our team feeling we were on the right track, even though indiegogo wasn't successful we have now come back after 8 months of development with a game bigger and better than before. We now have jokes and dreams about being G.O.T.D (game of the device) I'm looking to create a new thread to enlist some beta testers so watch this space! For now if you guys are still interested in M3CH here's a new kickstarter campaign we started this very morning that has all the features and details of our game that will be kept up to date for your viewing pleasure. LINK Heres a new screenshot of M3CH running on the Ipad4 (what a machine!) Thanks again for the support you guys rock! Cameron Small Lead artist, M3CH.
I hate it when Dubstep gets watered down to wobble and growls and fart sounds, it's called brostep, I like it too but it's not dubstep, but whatever, this ain't the place to discuss that, now off topic mode off. About the game I see Metal Gear Solid influences, Maschinen Krieger, Mecha, it sounds very very solid and the concept is pretty exciting, can't wait to see what this one develops into. Officially watching this one. PS: That iPad 4 screen looks sublime, so much atmosphere.
Not to troll, but i personally dislike dubstep all togther (of course excluding Mt. Eden) Back On Topic: Yes the game looks extremely good and polished, my only concern in the skybox looks somewhat Fake and pixelated.
Lol non-taken, Dubstep is not for everyone I respect your opinion, but MT Eden is not considered Dubstep for purists like me (I'm a hipster tool), search Coki - Burnin', I recomment you've got nice subs, now, end of off topic for me I promise XD Well oddly enough the skybox adds a certain charm to the scenery to me.
The demos' graphics are so so, but its understandable concidering its work in progress. What is promising is the deep going yet broad ambitions the devs seem to have for their concept What im most excited about are the mechs themselves. They look awesome yet by looking at them u realize the guys behind the designs are heavy duty OCD; they've actually tried to design them with considerations that would be relevant if they were built in real life BUT... (and thats a BIG one)... Take a closer read of their following piece of wording Aaaah, that... Now that reeks of IAPs all over it! Or perhaps the present dev on the thread can state me wrong?
Regarding IAP Hey PureRumble - You can play through m3ch happily without any in app purchases, we believe in selling the game at a one-off reasonable price so the player can enjoy the experience without in-game ads or pushy monetization. The references to gambling your winnings in multi player are referring to the in game credits you earn from winning single player matches rather than real money. Which is also spent on new mechs and weapons. "The demos' graphics are so so" Any chance on elaborating on this? we care greatly that our universe is correctly presented and if people see weak areas will would like to address them. Cheers guys for the comments, sorry to hear dubstep isn't your choice of music!
