Pocket Boxing is an Punchout Arcade inspired boxing game adopted to play with Siri remote.

I'm planning to submit to Apple this upcoming weekend. In the meantime, if anyone is interested in trying the beta via testflight, please let me know and I'll hook you up.

Submitted this morning, with release date (assuming no approval hiccups) set to August 11th.

Will be released as full free game, with an optional IAP that allows rematching opponents in the middle of a circuit.

    IAP temporarily free

Apple backend has a problem that broke IAP functionality in the initial release. It's live and working now - required to rematch opponents starting with Mad Moose McGee. The good news is that the IAP is temporarily free for a limited time (through the weekend)!

Pocket Boxing TV or just search for "Boxing" using siri remote in the Apple TV AppStore.

Gameplay is modeled after PunchOut Arcade/SNES Punchout.

    Control mapping:
    - swipe left/right to dodge
    - swipe down to duck
    - tap to jab opponent in the noggin
    - tap to land right cross (if opponent is stunned)
    - swipe up for right hand or right hook (if power meter is full)
    - click to throw body blow to the breadbasket
    - click while opponent is stunned to land a powerful uppercut (if power meter is full)

If anyone gives this a spin and gets stuck on a particular opponent, feel free to hit up this thread and I'll give tips.

    Pocket Boxing TV 2.0

Pocket Boxing TV made knowyourmobile's list of Best Apple TV Apps Right now

Pocket Boxing for AppleTV has just been updated with a bug fix for local "perfect win' tracking (the 'heart' achievement displayed next to each opponent), and added effects for opponents/players getting hit and blocking.

Oh, this looks really interesting! I have an Apple TV. I haven't set it up, yet, though...

You know, I'm not sure! I have controller support working on my Apple TV for a not-yet-released Slam Mania port, but don't recall if I got around to hooking it up for Pocket Boxing TV.

Wouldn't be terribly difficult, and can probably get to it next weekend. That being said, I spent a lot of time rejiggering things to make sure it was playable with Siri Remote to the point where a player (ideally) shouldn't find themselves wishing they had a controller.
