There are many different touch screen control options if you want them.

    Awesome!
1 more question: are the minigames added in the world tour mode?

No sorry guys, no mini-games anywhere from what I can see. World tour mode is just normal tournaments.

One thing I don't understand is why the console and Vita versions have real player names, while this one does not. Wut?

Yep, licensing costs money. Sometimes rather a lot of money.

I think it is because of price and file size matter... They cannot give the same exactly product for 20 dollars (even more) cheaper and of course not such a big file size (i think Uncharted for Vita is around 3,8GBs). On iOS the bigger game till now i think is NOVA 3 which is around 1,8Gb. Anyway this is just my opinion i am not sure if this is the main reason that we won't see the minigames mode (at least for now (crossfingers)) in the iOS version. Otherwise i am totally happy that a good tennis game is finally coming to AppStore!!!

1241mb...that's the exact size of the vita version. This is just another example of one platform getting the gimped version because of how pricing is structured. They wouldn't dare give us the vita version on iOS cause they can't release it @ $39.99. I can understand why they'd do it, but I'm not happy that they'd leave out something that's been a staple of the game since its release on dreamcast.

Um, so what? FIFA for iOS for example has the same licenses as the console versions and is the same price as this game. So does every other iOS sports game which has a console version. Doesn't make sense to me honestly.

I'd rather save $34 and give the players whatever names I want ;).

Licensing might matter, but I don't know. I don't really care myself: every player can called Shirley as long as the game is fun. LOL.

FIFA sells a heck of a lot more copies than a tennis game.

Yes but keep in mind that the iOS version is universal and they must put inside higher res textures etc. to look ok in the iPad bigger resolution. Anyway i totally agree that they did that for the pricing.
