Game is definately interesting. This graphic - so simple... But it raises hope for advanced styoryline simultaneously! Please, share more information about this intriguing "videogame haiku about life, love & death."
I love it. I'm really happy how developers take a chance on the iphone/ipod touch to create something different and unique. To tell you the truth I'm really tired of all the wolfenstien remakes on the consoles.
Hey Touch-Arcade Pals, I just wanted to pop in and say Hi on behalf of the unique collaboration of Capy/Superbrothers/Jim Guthrie. Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP is still deep in development, and we're hard at work making the game a feast for the eyes/ears/fingers, so there isn't a ton I can share with you right now. I will definitely make sure to keep this thread up-to-date with new info as it comes. You can also hop over the games webnet super-address www.swordandsworcery.com and sign up for the teletext bulletins for moon-cycle-based updates and accounts for that twitter thingamajig. Thanks!
I love the look and the music, but may I ask what this game is? Is it a sidescrolling hack-and-slash? A birds-eye view RPG? A radically new style of gameplay? Or has nothing been announced about this yet?
That's the first thing you've said that I completely agree with. That teaser gave me chills. Can't wait to see the game/experience/whatever in action.
We haven't shown any gameplay (beyond what the IGF Mobile judges saw), but we are doing a presentation in Toronto at the Hand Eye Society (http://handeyesociety.com/) on Feb. 11 where Superbrothers will be demo'ing a portion of the gameplay for the first time.
Okay, but is the any speculation on what it might be? Right now, I'm guessing it'll be a side-scrolling action RPG. With über awesome pixel art.
"A crude videogame haiku about life, love & death" was all I needed to hear. This shows great promise; can't wait to see it.
