I can't find any game
is there something I can do to fix this?

Go to Play Online, Then Custom Game. Should be a list of available games there. If they don't show up then check your game center account to see if it's working.

Interestingly enough, its the same for me. My guess is Deadlock was communicating with the servers even on the main menu, and some server-client bug caused the lag, but the developers patched some netcode on their servers along with the 1.01 update, fixing the lag even for those still on 1.0.
