No universal support? wtf? Could we be seeing an ipad HD version with iPad 2 optimizations sometime in the very near future for a $2.99 price tag? That is a fair price.

You are not pretty enough to be that stupid.

@iphoneprogrammer Anything is possible, and a lot of it depends on market reception.

makes sense, but cutting out a large part of the market with an iphone only release isn't going to help with the reception is it.

yeah, i know i can enjoy all the pixelated goodness on the ipad, but i'd rather just buy ipad capable games instead.

I as well. I used to last year, purchase iPhone games for 2x...

But after the iPad 2 arrived and can add more fidelity to optimized games, I won't double dip anymore.

Universal / HD Request

Releasing a Universal or HD version simultaneously for an iOS game launch adds a lot of extra risk to the developers up-front (by delaying the shipping time of the game and adding extra cost to the development).

Since we are a small self-funded group of independent developers and not a huge venture capitalist backed corporation, we have to make sure the game is well received on the most popular platform before we can afford to invest in development for others.

I hope that makes sense, and thanks for understanding!

We hope Zombie Gunship will be a hit on the iPhone and that as a result we can get to work on either a Universal update or HD version of the game soon!

Thanks for your support everyone!
