No universal support? wtf? Could we be seeing an ipad HD version with iPad 2 optimizations sometime in the very near future for a $2.99 price tag? That is a fair price.

Releasing a Universal or HD version simultaneously for an iOS game launch adds a lot of extra risk to the developers up-front (by delaying the shipping time of the game and adding extra cost to the development).
Since we are a small self-funded group of independent developers and not a huge venture capitalist backed corporation, we have to make sure the game is well received on the most popular platform before we can afford to invest in development for others. I hope that makes sense, and thanks for understanding! We hope Zombie Gunship will be a hit on the iPhone and that as a result we can get to work on either a Universal update or HD version of the game soon! Thanks for your support everyone! |
