Cool update conpletely out of the bkie for me, but. Can't believe they've added a massive update to this with missions and objectives and such, and NOT implemented iCloud saves.
Have no desire to pick up and play on my iPad and start from scratch at all. Seriously Limbic, take a leaf from Blowfish and implement iCloud saves like they have in Razor. |

Why did I ever uninstall this game....must have been temporary insanity. Reinstalled recently, and it's just awesome. Great visuals, super sound, but most of all, smooth & addictive gameplay....it's very one-more-go.
Comparing game today to when it was first out, the updates / changes have been great - excellent support compared to many other top titles out there. Slow and steady decent updates is the way! Really looking forward to updates of any kind, maybe something(s) expensive to work towards, other than just beating my own high score - which is great fun as it is, still. Here's a brain dump, and some stolen ideas too from earlier posts. New Game Mode Ideas : - Mode with no civilians but loads of zombies from the start. - Mode with just the tank zombies or just boss mode (see bosses below). - Mode where you get a set amount of ammo for all guns and see what best score you can rack up. - Mode where you just select one weapon. - Mode that is timed. - Mode with 2 or more base entrances to defend. - Mode taking place in the daytime...full colour! - Mode escorting a convoy of vehicles. - Mode for 2 players, both controlling AC-130s (co-op or head2head). Or co-op could be one in AC-130, and the other with sniper rifle/grenade launcher/turret, maybe in a chopper or just perched somewhere up high. - Training mode - test of accuracy, trying to hit moving targets of different speeds. Good training for the new fast zombie type below. New Enemy Ideas : - Fast Zombie : maybe zombie animal of some sort, or just the normal ones that can sprint. - Jumper Zombie : different take on the fast one, it leaps around a bit randomly so more unpredictable than the straight line runner to hit. - "Medium" Zombie : stronger than the normal ones, but not as tough as the tanks, just to mix it up. - Regenerating Zombie : maybe. - Growing Zombie : gets stronger the closer it gets to the bunker, so best to get it killed early. - Eater Zombie : if they infect a civilian, that civilian mutates into a tank or other zombie. So another incentive to save the civs maybe. Maybe any zombie that successfully attacked a civ turns them into something, rather than having specifc eater zombie. - Great Big Ridiculous Mutant Zombie Bosses : huge but slow, can be taken apart by the legs/arms/tentacles etc. Could be many varieties. Maybe appears after every 250 kills, and can give you back a civilian kill? New Maps / Structures for Maps : - "Centre" Level : where base is in middle of map, attacked from all sides. - Highway Level : A packed (but abandoned!) highway, lots of roads, junctions, bridges and fly overs that obscure vision....certain vehicles can be shot for extra explosions/damage. - Forest level : tall trees, caves, rock formations. - Exploding objects - vehicles, barrels, petrol station, gas cyclinders etc. Gentle damage will set the object on fire and it's then explodes after a few seconds, so can be used tactically. Of course a shot from the big gun will cause instant explosion. New "Attacks"/Items/Abilities - Another layer of upgrades for weapons...ammo capacity? power/force? - Extra radar upgrades to make zombie/civs stand out even more, or give on-screen indicator of off-screen zombie activity...a bit like how the bunker has a green light indicator when you can't see it. - Upgradeable zoom in/out options for all the guns...so you can have a wider view with the gatling gun for example. - Ability to choose the load out of AC-130....so you could have any combo of 3 weapons...i.e. 2 x Gatling plus 1 x Howitzer. One gatling could be normal, the other gatling as zoomed out a bit, or 3 x Gatling gun etc etc. - Buttons so you can fire two or all the weapons at once. Advantage is carnage, downside is reload time penalty. - Different ammo types for current weapons - maybe limited supply, but can be earned with civilian saves / certain number of kills etc. - Flares : it's the anti-missile measures that the AC-130 has (technical name anyone?), but instead you can set them off and it slows an area of zombies because they're distracted by the lights/noise. - One-off strikes : napalm, gunship strafe run, mini-nuke, predator missile etc. - Sonic Attractor : there was a better name for this in another post, but you get the idea. - Lay mines, razor wire, traps, barricades to slow and funnel the zombies. Tapping on a civilian would mean he/she is made aware of these traps and can therefore try to avoid it. Ok, that's it for now. Maybe I like this game too much. So if all the above could be implemented for me, that would be much appreciated

Any data lost? I didn't download the previous update with new missions.Hope I won't have any issues. |
