In the iOS version you will be able to move Toku with a virtual stick, while wind control will be touch/gesture based

I picked this up way back when it hit the wiiware store. It's a really great game. It's basically a metroidvania, only instead of gaining weapons, you gain new wind abilities.

I'll most likely pick this up for my iPad, too, even though I have it on wiiware. It really was enjoyable, and I think the gameplay will be that much better with my finger controlling the wind versus using a wiimote. I had no complaints of the controls at all on the wii (they were perfect), but after seeing how much better playing plants versus zombies was on my iPad, do to the faster speed I had due to not needing to drag a mouse cursor around, I can only imagine that lost winds will equally benefit from touch controls.

Lost Winds and the Mario Galaxy games are two of the reasons I was seriously considering treating myself to a Wii a few weeks back, but I instead opted for an iPad 2 and effectively waved away any hope of a WiiWare spending spree! But the possibility of Lost Winds hitting the App Store is music to my ears...

Now, if Xbox Live's Limbo could also branch out to our touchscreen's, that would be something very special.

Here's hoping huh?!

I am totally psyched about this. The game always looked appealing to me. I am really looking forward to playing Lost Winds on the iPad.

I am a girl gamer.

I got it on WiiWare but was disappointed by how it just ended, though I heard there was a sequel/second part? can't wait to see how it works on iPad!
