The problem with Dexter is that the titular character is the ONLY good thing about the show. When it's Dexter running around doing his thing it's amazing. Problem is that's only 1/2 of the show, the other half is dedicated to a host of terrible side characters portrayed by crappy actors given shitty sideplots that don't lead ANYWHERE.
