Drop numbered balls onto a grid and score as many points as you can before the grid over flows. Score points and remove balls by creating combinations of balls in rows or columns that add up to 10. Create multiple Combi10s in one chain for point multipliers. Reduce balls with values above 10 by creating Combi10s with the balls adjacent to them. battyejp's comments:
My name is JP Battye. I am a lone developer who after many months of development has recently had my first game published on the app store (26/07/2011). It is called Combi10 and it is available on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Combi10 is a highly addictive grid puzzle game that doesnt follow the rules of your typical match-three genre, thus producing a unique grid puzzle game. There are two versions of the game, Combi10 lite which is free to download and allows play of the first 10 levels. The full Combi10 game is 0.69 / US$0.99 / AUS$0.99 to download.

The game works by dropping numbered balls onto a grid to score as many points as possible before the grid overflows. Score points and remove balls by creating combinations of balls which add up to 10 in connected rows or columns. Create multiple Combi10s in one chain for point multipliers. Reduce balls with values above 10 by creating Combi10s with the balls adjacent to them. Create balls with values of ten or zero for special effects. For those who like number games such as Sudoku, this could be the challenge you have been waiting for.

I welcome any feedback on the game that you may have.

Many Thanks

i LOVE the concept - finally a substitute for my drop7/dropsum addiction.

2 things though i disliked:

for me it's a bit too slow. it takes way too long till tiles are at the bottom of the grid. and i'd love to hear at least some sound effects - without them it seems a bit too clinical to me.

besides that: well done... can't wait to see how this game will evolve!

Thanks for all the comments guys, I really appreciate them and glad people out there are enjoying the game, I know I enjoyed developing it.

CrashingBore : Thanks for the feedback. A couple of people have mentioned the speed, I think I will implement a settings screen and within that you will be able to configure the speed yourself. I'll get round to the sound too at some point.

I'm also hoping to do some new game modes, for example a timed mode. Hopefully can get a multiplayer version out there at some point too.

If anyone else has any suggestions, I would love to here them. It's not easy getting feedback from customers. You can also leave feedback on the Facebook page:
