The whole game is completely free, and there aren't any ads involved. However, there are some IAPs to unlock better players (all that can be unlocked ingame of course, though it might take a bit). So it's definitely worth it, a very good game and a lot of fun (I got a preview code as well). Very nice game with a lot of fun involved...and free!!!

Just to inform everyone, we have already submitted a patch for the ipod touch and ipad issues and we're currently working to build a great multiplayer experience for Dice Soccer.

I was lucky enough to get a preview code.
The game is slick and really super fun...and there is much more than meets the eye with a surprisingly robust 'tactical' component unlocking and managing players.
It starts easy but soon enough (in the middle of the first legue tournament) things get really interesting.
Highly recommended.
