After some consideration... a good thing might be to do the following. Set up two game modes. "Difficult mode" is the game as it is now. "Normal mode" is the current game with the possibility to re-play finished levels. Then I would have to introduce a new leaderboard for fairness reasons and make sure that the normal mode is not too easy.

What do you think?

I think that sounds okay... although if people see "Normal" and "Difficult"
modes, they'll expect the difficult mode to also have more worms than normal mode.

Giving us the option to replay levels is nice. I like it.

Okay. We will include the two game modes and other things in our upcoming gameplay-update Vermes on Mars 1.1.0. Please keep your eyes open for that

In the meantime please give Vermes on Mars 1.0.1 a try. This stability update has just been released and should fix a couple of issues, including the iPad2+WiFi+Cellular problem.

I just saw a very inspiring review:
Quote:
This is a nice game with great graphics, sound and premise. Although I find the controls to be irksome at best. [...]

My personal preference would be to have the toggle be to hold a finger down on one of the edges, that way as long as the finger is down, you're either in fire mode or movement mode (probably should be able to toggle between what mode the touch down evokes.
This seems to make a lot of sense to me and I will do some experiments with this idea.

What do you think?

I like the toggle idea. As it is now, I move when I wanna shoot and shoot when I wanna move.

I've grown somewhat acclimated to the current set up though(albeit frustrating at heated combat).

Well, after all the feedback that I have gotten it is like this... people who do not want to learn that little input trick are quickly repelled, while those that do like it. Thus I have to improve the situation.

although im perfectly fine with it , it could use a responsiveness boost to when i tap to shoot because theres usually a one second delay .
