That's good enough for me! Downloading now...

[EDIT] Yup, this game is wonderful. Gorgeous too, but no Game Center!? Regardless, Emberwind carries this iGamers seal of approval and comes very highly recommended. Nuff said..!!

I sort of really like the game, but it's marred by horrible controls IMO.
The buttons are too small for the iPad. I constantly miss the jump and attack button, and I have to look down to make sure I hit the correct button way too often. It really is a shame.

Also, the help screens are also way too small, a tiny stamp in the middle of the screen to show the different control options, they aren't very helpful either.

Took me a while to realise that you can't talk to certain villagers unless you pick up acorns first. Why is that? Do I use acorns for bribes to get secret information on wishing wells??

And what's up with the acorn above my characters head? Sometimes you press it to open doors, other times you press it, and a lot of acorns appear that I can collect...

This game is very confusing at times, especially for a platformer...

Please fix the size of the buttons, and give us a proper help page, with a bit of explanation besides tiny windows of animations.

I just watched a nicely presented review of this on YouTube, that is pretty much a rave. I guess I will end up buying this one (must stop buying IOS games).

This is a really great action platformer that is getting nowhere near the attention it deserves. It's been completely smothered by the new Cut the Rope and FFT. Check it out, you won't regret it.

This is an excellent game. There are elements of Metal Slug, Castlevania, Sonic and many of the better platformers from the SNES and Megadrive (Genesis) era.

At the risk of sounding like a pompous tit, it's definitely setting a new benchmark for iOS platform games.

I haven't had any real issues with the controls. There's no need for pixel perfect jumps and the action is the kind of effects-laden carnage where timing and precision are far less important than bouncing around, hitting things and having a good time.

This is one of the easiest iPad games to recommend that I've played in a very long time.
