I have now finished the first museum, Metrodogitan, and I have a few more comments. First off the animations of the character sprites are really good, particularly the movements of the cats. The Game Center support is appreciated, but it would be nice to have a way to access it directly from the app. Also, in checking my achievements, I noticed I have one for stunning all the guards in Doggenheim when I have not even started that level.

Ok, I'm convinced. Buying it now. Won't get to try it until later, though.

I'm passing on all these art-orientated compliments to our artist... I have a feeling her head is getting rather large! |

![]() I'm really happy to know such good games come out of Montréal and Boucherville ! I'm the resident Canuck at the Immersion School where I teach French; I'll have to vaunt your wares to all the iPad junkies there. Pickpawcket is a great game. It does a little Québecois boy proud to see countrymen (and women) make good. Félicitations ! Guy |

Thanks for the props! It's odd not seeing fingers on the screen - how did you make the video?

We've worked the past 2 months or so on a HUGE update to Pickpawcket. What is it you ask?
There is an all-new museum, the Spotsonian, with 20 challenging new levels and 20 awesome new portraits to steal back from the dogs. We've also added... ** POWER-UPS! ** Every level you complete gives you milk bottles that you can trade in for any of over 20 fun new power-ups. The better you do on a level, the more milk bottles you get. Trade your milk bottles for awesome new power-ups like Cat Speed, Gem Magnet, Short Sighted Dogs, Super Stun, Master Of Disguise, and more! ** THE BEAGLE ** Uh-oh. This is one smart dog. He uses his keen sense of smell to pick up your trail and catch you. He's not fooled by disguises, and won't fall for the old wind-up-squirrel trick. Can you outwit this one? ** CONFETTI ** An all-new mechanic to use against the dogs. Pop the confetti bombs to disorient your canine opponents. Find them in the Spotsonian! We hope you love this update! I look forward to you guys challenging me for the top score position in this museum too! Oh - and by the way - you should be able to get this update any second now. We're working on yet another update for Pickpawcket (Who ever said a game was finished on release).
After going free for a weekend and getting a flood of feedback we'll be working on reducing the size of the app. 120mb is apparently way too much. I can't comment on how low we'll get it down to but both programmers are scratching their noggins trying to trim every bite possible. We're also working on fixing the bug introduced by iOS5 which caused some devices (namely the original iPad and iPod Touch 4th gen) to crash when trying to load levels. You'll see both updates as soon as we can get them finished! Happy Thieving! |
