Purchased the missile cruiser on my iphone while at school and was looking forward to playing it full size on my ipad at home.

...missile cruiser is not unlocked on my ipad.

Maybe I missed something but it appears that I have to purchase each IAP twice in order to play on both platforms?

EDIT/UPDATE: IAP is cross-platform...when you click to buy on diff device it will indicate that you have already purchased and ask if you want to download again.

other than the generic enemies and background plus no sense of progression, this game is a BLAST!

Phoenix HD 2.4.3 patch notes

I'll continue all Phoenix HD related posts in this thread as the other thread is completely broken. But, I guess this is the official one, so all is well!

Phoenix HD continues to be updated, even while we work on our other new games. We're rolling out a big update tomorrow. We upgraded our engine with the latest and greatest technologies like Metal support for 64-bit cpu's. Almost all visual effects have been redone and improved while staying true to the original. We also upgraded the audio engine, so all audio issues you guys reported in the previous thread have been fixed! The game is now able to play more simultaneous sounds sources so the whole thing sounds more spectacular as well!

The pause screen was also changed, to accommodate for a new screenshot feature, and is now also more responsive when resuming. As some of you know, there was some sort of delay after resuming. Very annoying when the game was paused in a more hectic situation

To be a bit more specific on the graphic changes, for those interested. The particles can now have a more complex behavior in terms of scaling, fading etc. The biggest change however comes from the removal of frame animations. The base of nearly all fire and explosion effects were hand drawn frame animations (by yours truly). They looked nice, but had a low frame count and always look the same. We rotated them and put other particles on top to mask it, with a pretty good end result. However, these have now be replaced with 100% particle driven visual effects. Every fire / explosion is now unique and animates at a gorgeous 60fps.

Below is a new iphone screenshot (left), next to one of the previous ipad app-store screenshots (right). Though these are ipad and iphone screenshots I picked them because you can compare the fire/debris effects in particular (falling next to the ship). Overall we are able to show even more particles now!

Having said all that, the game still runs on iPhone 4, so these upgrades are really for everyone! Enjoy

* Phoenix HD now supports Metal on 64bit devices!
* Almost all effects in the game have been improved and everything looks even better!
* Sound effects are much improved and sound a lot richer, with up to 32 sounds playing at once. This also fixes all known sound bugs.
* An easy way to take screenshots in game. Just pause the game and then tap the 'screenshot' button to easily share or save those spectacular moments.

Finally, don't forget about our TV mode! Play Phoenix HD on your TV by connecting through Airplay to an Apple TV or directly through a TV out connector cable.
