Awesome! I was tempted to buy this back during release simply for a nostalgia trip.

I was similarly tempted before, and forgot about it until now. Having played it quite a bit tonight since getting it, I found myself at first agreeing with "Eh, been here, another Outrun clone" reviews, but got hooked shortly thereafter. Now I'm firmly in the "I understand why Attack of the Show highlighted this game" camp. Feels very authentic, controls are solid, and it really does pull you in. Absolutely worth getting for retro race fans, and anyone who's curious.

Oh well, at least you got it for free

Did you restart your device? It solved the problem for me.

Given that it is free and has a positive reception, I think I'll download this and break it in while I'm sunbathing later. Cheers!

My game recommendations:
Hard Lines - Comboline - Magnetic Billiards Blueprint - Canabalt - The Blocks Cometh - Gangstar: Miami Vindication - Puppet War - Tetris - Dalton - Siege Hero - Cuddle Bears - Doom Classic - Space Leap - Bug Heroes - Startales

Thanks! Runs fine on iPad 2.

There is obviously no fine tuning of steering. Turn OR turn NOT (go straight). But you have more options on speed.

Nice retro complement in my huge racer collection.
