on the first day, it was free...i wanted to download it, clicked on install and the icon arrived on my home-screen, 1 sec later the icon disappeared and the pop-up with "Änderungen werden vorgenommen, bitte versuchen sie es später noch einmal".
I tried it at 14.30-14.50...then i had to move out for work...At 23.40 the same...Funny: At 0.00 it seems to work. I looked on the feedback...the game has now a price of 2.99€... for me, this behavior is very unfair and i won't buy any games of the dev... if anyone wants to see the cheat, ask me and i will upload the screenshots.. |

Ah, I've been waiting for a game like this for ages. Not to trivialise it, but it sounds a lot like the old flash game Space Penguin. And there was another game with this concept that I bought already (Slingshot), but it had a rival ship shooting missiles back at you ..added an unnecessary sense of urgency to the game IMHO. I just want to puzzle over physics.
Having both impulse *and* burn-time adds just that level of geekiness to it that I know I'm going to love.

TKO - Spaced Penguin was our explicit inspiration.
![]() In fact, Kevin makes a cameo in our game and we got a good laugh/review from Phil V. et al at Jelly Telly. ![]() I know it's a thinker and not a fast paced action game - it's a shame when folks don't understand that then get frustrated...and share their single star reviews...but I guess that's just life on the edge. ![]() illegitimi non carborundum |

Ah ha! I'm glad I spotted it then.
Spaced Penguin was really a good concept. A shame there aren't more games about that are inspired by it. This game is certainly a worthy homage. It does a very good job of taking the concept up to a higher level. The (very) slick presentation and more sophisticated thrust control make it feel like a much more cerebral experience. ..but you haven't added too much to the concept - that's what remakes often do, and suffer for it. Well done. The only things that I'm curious about: why isn't it possible to aim on the main view? Seems a bit unnecessarily constrained to me. Any thoughts about adding a little bit of flare to the rocket itself? Some sparks? Smoke? ..a little puff of smoke when the burn finishes would be a nice visual cue to the exact moment it happens. (or a little flare-out of the flame.) Every thing else in the game is so incredibly flashy, the rocket feels a teeny bit underwhelming. What? One star reviews? Bah.. no shortage of morons on the internet. I'm gonna get on the store and post something more appropriate. Thanks for the great game guys! ..okay, one last thought: shake to destruct is okay, but shouldn't there be a self-destruct *button*? A red one. That's how the movies do it.

why don't you extend the "space"? The missile too often leaves the available space and starts marking off its distance on the edge. I don't understand why you wouldnt just have a bigger playing field. If its a long shot, have the camera angle zoom out to show a wider FOV. The limited "space" presentation looks tacky, given we know graphically what the ipod/iphone can do.

wootbean - good idea!
Still, for anybody who doesn't feel like wading through the app file structure, we just decided to post them to our website where folks can download them easily. http://www.somagames.com/ARC/G-wallpaper.php Curious - what picture is your favorite?
