There is a tutorial of sorts. If you go to the main screen (click on the 'Home' button on the command table on the lower left) and then choose 'Continue Current Game' you'll be presented with an info / dialogue box saying 'Do you know?'. If you click on the balloon, 'I would like to know more about Genesia' you will enter the 'tutorial' mode.

Prepare yourself for an english translation which is a bit rough in places but certainly understandable.

Already bought my personal limit for this payday but I will definitely be buying this next payday for sure. Too bad Majesty and another $7 took my money otherwise if this had come out a few days earlier it would have one me over buying it over the other game I bought... I wouldn't trade my Majesty though, loved the PC version and the iPad version while not as deep is still awesome!

Put some time in on this and it is even better than I remember. Not only does it hold up well, it offers things that the current generation of games often overlooks. You get a full description of each settler, in plain english, which makes the game more personal than just a list of stats. You have a quite a few options each turn, which scales up as you add more buildings. There are a huge string of resources, each of which is used in various buildings. If you like turn-based resource management games, with combat too, this may be just the thing for you. Sorry I don't have time for a full review, but I'm having a blast with it.

This sounds like a great update but are there any plans to add local stats/highscores to the game? Having some sort of record of my previous attempts in the game is very important to me (even if not sure why).

@LordGek : Hi, this is not planned at the moment because I currently work on the new universal version of Genesia (iPAD / iPhone / Mac / PC). But it's a good idea, I'll note this in my development notebook.

This is a blast from the past. I remember pirating it a long time ago and having a lot of fun and years with it. I'll be buying this soon.
