Really copying World of Goo's aesthetic. Were any of the same artists involved?

Instant buy for me. Ever since I saw the announcement and some gameplay footage I have waited and checked Chillingo's upcoming page every week to see if it would shot up. Finally it has come. I'll have to wait until 01:00h local time but I'll stay up for this one.
It's magical.

Exactly my thought. But WoG isn't the only more or less obvious inspiration, which comes to mind. Seeing a finger lift ground to move something (Bumpy Road) or cutting a rope to hurl Petit to a certain spot (Cut the Rope) etc. I wonder whether this will live up to its obvious inspirations. Awaiting game impressions...

Now playing: Tokaido, Jaipur, Race for the Galaxy, Potion Explosion, Lanterns, Lotus
Waiting for: Enough time to play through the back catalogue of my recent purchases

I thought the same thing when I initially heard about this game. I guess all I can say(especially after seeing such polish in the vids) is that this insta buy already has a place in my iPad 2 right next to WoG.

Reminds me of a cross of World of Goo and Cut the Rope, with the graphics style of Limbo (a very popular XBLA game from last year that I would love to see ported to the iOS).

Not as blown away as I'd hoped, played 12 levels and closed it and opened sprinkle and have no desire to go back right now..not very addictive, maybe it's because I waited a long time for it to be released everyday fantasizing about how great it would be, and now its here and I feel a bit MEH

It's just like the brochure, everything innovative about this game I've already watched in the several trailers and gameplay videos online, which has taken away that innovative feel, I feel like I've already seen it and played it when I haven't.
