Rad, Man

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to show everyone the latest on the game, Rad, Man. The beta testers are almost completely done testing. I wanted to show a few screenshots of the game and add a small description.

Rad, Man is a fighting game inspired by Super Smash Brothers. It is geared more towards pushing players off of the stage than punching until a degree of damage has been executed. That feature has also been added, though. Basically you are give 1 minute to fight the opposing "punk". You are fed up with his sense of superiority and presumptuous nature. You wish to teach him a lesson.

The game currently has three different levels, each level varies in difficulty. The easiest level (where it is not as easy to fall off) and the hardest level (where falling of is much easier). You fight by running and pushing into the punk, trying to push him off of the stage. Each time you push, his percentage of damage goes up. The punk does likewise.

The game ends when the time runs out (you win) or you fall off (you lose).

That's about it. The stage with the "pinstripe color" background changes every time you play it.

Tell me what you think!

If you have any questions or concerns, just let me know.

Thanks!

It's hard to tell based on those images. Perhaps a video would help.

This is a fantastic idea and I was planning on initially doing so. However, school just started, and I am very bogged down with all of the work. I will try to create a video over the weekend, though.

Alright thanks! I'll definitely try to get that done. Hopefully, I won't have too much school work over the weekend.

I've started making the video. It's not going to be great fps because the capturing software is kind of bad...

Video!

Here's the YouTube video. The gameplay videos did not turn out the way I had originally wanted, but it gives you guys a general idea of what the game is like.

Tell me what you think!

Thanks
