Nintendog clone?

Why hasn't someone created a serious Nintendog alternative for iPhone and iPod Touch? Think about it: touchscreen... and you always bring the iPhone with you. This could be a real hit, is it so hard to create a serious "Tamagotchi-like" game?

Ahh, they're so time-wasting games!

Please come up with a 2nd Gen iPod Jailbreak!

Yeah, Nintendogs is the first gamer I thought of after racing games once I watched the iPhone SDK demo.

Imagine, you can pet your dog, pinch it or whatever with the multi-touch.

I think it's easy to create a tamagotchi-like game, but quite difficult to create something of Nintendogs-callibre, especially if you expect it from a one man band.

There are some limited versions of these games like iPuppy and iGotchi, but they're not up to scratch.

Yeah, you can also give it a slap, which is hard to do with a stylus on the DS!
