You have to be an idiot to brick your iPod. There's almost no way to do that unless you do it intentionally which is dumb.

Use quickpwn.com. Should work like a charm.

QuickFreedom works really well too, it still works just as good as QuickPwn, except it's a little more advanced, allowing you to customize almost every aspect of jailbreaking. I have not used it, although I knew somebody who did, and they said it worked fine.

Actually use http://www.quickfreedom.com instead. QuickPWN does NOT support iPod Touch 2G yet!

The chances of bricking your iPod touch is near non-existent, meaning it's at around 1%. And most of the time it's your fault, no one else's.

QuickFreedom is so easy to use it's not funny. Tethered jailbreaks are a lot harder to do, but still alright. With QuickFreedom, you're being spoiled.

http://www.modmyi.com/forums/ipod-ne...guide-mac.html

Here's one I used that's ALL manual. Takes some time but worth it, or you can just wait until they release a new version of QuickPWN.

QuickFreedom should also work, didn't work for me since I used the Parallels Desktop on my Mac. The guide for QuickFreedom is within the application itself so all you have to do is follow the directions on that.

For the all manual one, just follow each step with every detail carefully and you should be fine. It takes around 30-40 minutes which isn't very long compared to the time I spend on TA. Hope this helped
