Why does so many people want multiplayer in such odd games? Fruit ninja, doodle jump... Am I the only one that thinks this way? I'd rather see Halfbrick use their time to make other games or updates rather than multiplayer that I and some others will barely play.

Agreed 100%, leave the multiplayer to the games that are built around it instead of tacking it on.

Agreed, though I think for an endless runner like Jetpack Joyride or Doodle Jump it's not really needed much. In fruit ninja though it adds a bunch to the game....it's not the same as the original modes but completely different.

Yeah.. Multiplayer isn't needed..but its something I wouldn't mind. For this game, its pretty much complete to me. For me, any updates are just a nice bonus.

I don't have Fruit Ninja (I have Veggie Samurai), but after finding out Fruit Ninja has multiplayer, it sounds fun. Well, to me, its not like Fruit Ninja needs multiplayer either..but it just sounds like a nice bonus.

Really looking forward to the update muscat said something about. Not that it's needed to keep me playing. Currently at 58 hours played and still playing.

I'd love multiplayer in this game if you and the other players would have the same obstacles (removing the luck element, more or less). Whether this is possible might depend on how vehicles and their obstacles are currently handled. A "fair match" with other players would be quite fun, though!

Another way of handling "multiplayer" which might be more true to the game as it is, though... maybe you can pick rivals for yourself (including your best score) and when you get to their top distance, there'll be a Barry corpse on the ground with their name over it. Good for a laugh and the whole "YES, I just beat this person's score!"

I'm quite surprised about that as well... I expected Jetpack Joyride to stay in the top 10 at least for a long time....

Jetpack Joyride crashes automatically when I open it up on my iPod Touch 4G.
