pluto6: iPad vs. iPhone really depends on how you play...personally I think the iPad version is sweeter and the game really shows off and feels great there, plus multiplayer it's much easier for everyone to reach the Turbo button. But like 1000 Heroz I enjoy playing by myself on the train, so iPhone is better than iPad for me on that game.

I'm enjoying this game and it is definitely *way* better then the original, and looks superb on the iPad 2... but I still pretty much suck at it. It's fun, at least for now while it isn't *too* hard. We'll see if I stick with it once it gets really tough. Something about drawing a racing line *and* controlling the speed of the drawing I just can't seem to master. If I do it carefully I'm too slow, and if I try to be quicker about it my line and my regulation of speed goes all to hell.

I am not so hot at the game either, I admit, but it has a pretty gentle learning curve compared to some of our other games, like Trials HD. I think it's easier to play on the ipad than iphone, but it can be stark at times. It's not a game the rewards intuitive play, but more careful analysis and practice.

Any additional comparisons to the first, crunc? I also liked the original game in theory, but didn't find myself coming back to it again and again.

I am very stuck on the second to last level of the Pro difficulty

I think the game is good. Not fantastic, but good. But one thing I think sucks with the game is the system when you first need to meet one opponent, then two, and then three. So lame. Let us meet all three from the beginning!

Maybe if we do some updates with new tracks we might stagger the number of drivers a bit... of course you always get 3 players right away in the World League competitions.
