I don't know, this looks like a cookie cutter Match-3 to me. Price drop within 24 hours of initial release doesn't instill much confidence either.

I don't have an iPad but the title caught my eye - this looks like a port of a great DS title (among other platforms as well). Certainly one of the more fun match 3's that I have played, along with it's sequels.

It has a lot of traps and power ups if I recall correctly, as well as a building portion. When I played it a couple years ago it was definitely different than anything I had played, but then again, that was a couple years ago and I have played a lot since then.

Definitely though for the price it seems worth it, considering it sells for much more on the other platforms.

It's good

Bought it. It's your typical match 3 over specific spaces to clear the level. You also collect money and resources, similar to e.g Puzzle Quest. Graphics are nice. The city building is kind of pointless eye candy. Some people like it. Tile movement is smooth. I'd say it's as nice as any in the genre. At $2.99 it was a good buy. Probably wouldn't pay much more for it though.

I'd give it a 4.75 out of 5.

Looks good - may go for it. Now, when is "Secrets of Olympus" heading to iPad - that's my favorite of all 3-matchers (not from this developer - but just wishing).

Lives?

Does the iPad version of this game include lives? I played the PC version and it gave you a limited number of lives, after which you had to start the game over from the beginning.

I don't mind having to replay a level until you pass it but losing all your progress was a deal breaker for me. If the iPad version works the same way I'll pass.

It does. And it's hard! I think they eased up a bit in #2. Seems to a pattern with their games.
