Looking for a strategy / wargame for iOS?
Love sailing ships, bloody boarding actions, and masts getting cut down with carefully aimed chain-shot salvos?

Then you should definately check out iAdmiral. For just .99$ you get access to fifteen scenarios with three difficulty levels, two gameplay modes and pass-n-play multiplayer.

Scenarios range from small skirmishes to huge battles in which fleets of Ships of the Line pound each other into oblivion. There are escort and defense missions, coastal bombardments of enemy cities and fortifications, ambushes, breakouts and more!

The game has a certain boardgame feel to it, and is a pure strategy game - turn and hex based. If you are interested, there is also a Lite version available.

iAdmiral has a rating of 4.5 stars (avg.) on the US AppStore.

Huge fan of Wooden Ships & Iron Men, instabuy!

I've been playing this for a few weeks and been enjoying the heck out of it. I'm surprised there hasn't been any buzz. Developer: if you're reading this, I'd suggest a skirmish mode, where you can pick your own ships. Also maybe random scenario option. Still, great game

Here are some gameplay tutorials I found on youtube... I've been on the fence about this stopped only by my backlog of games.

Also note that the other tutorials are from version 1.1, and had had spelling and grammar mistakes corrected since then .

The Dev hears you, and agrees ;-) if iOS 5 doesn't give me too much headache, this feature should come soon after.
