Nice job on the tutorials. I've been playing tutorial 1 to try things out, and I think I found something. I used to tap the level to play, and then I'd hold my finger on the right (accelerate) button. However, if I wait to press that button until the moment in between seeing the text "Ready" and "Go", I appear to get a much faster boost out of the start. So much so that I can easily get down below 15.50s now.

Nope! Is there any mention of the boost in the game? I'm still trying to play around with it to get a feel, but I definitely notice the boost. However, I stumbled upon it.

Yup - I've submitted a review for this game, so it should be coming.

Mike - if you weren't using the speed-boost, then you'll probably be able to improve your already good scores.

I'm still ranked number 4/916 in Tutorial 1, with 14.97s, which is my only claim to fame. I love the short levels with only a couple of jumps, so I played over and over until I got a good result. The trick is:
a) Get a perfect start with the speed boost.
b) Jump just before the discolored square on the first ramp, without removing the gas finger. If you time it right, you'll jump well over the second ramp without hitting the aerial barriers.
c) I angle the car by tilting for the final jump, but not sure if that helps.
I can get just over 15s (Gold) often with this approach, but haven't managed to match my earlier record.

Thanks for that tip! I hadn't realized there was also a visual cue. And thanks for the jump tip on Tutorial 1. I'm trying that out at the moment, but I still haven't surpassed my best of 15.21 (which I was able to get earlier today when I finally discovered the speed boost).

EDIT: 15.15 using your jump tip!
