AirTycoon is out

I've just come across this on AppShopper:

http://appshopper.com/games/airtycoon

It's a tycoon game in which you run your own airline.

It looks quite interesting so does anyone know more about it, or has anyone tried it yet?

I love tycoon games and there is a definite shortage of them for the iPod so it will be great if this one is any good.

Video games and apps reviewed at News Shopper, a newspaper site in London, England. I'm manager of this site, which gets more than 1.4 million page impressions a month. Any devs wanting your games reviewed, please contact me. (I have a US iTunes account)

For weeks, there were no iPhone games then all of a sudden this week there are so many! First, there's that Flick NBA, then G, then Car Jack Streets, then io, then Trivial Pursuit and Assassin's Creed. I'm broke, this game looks interesting though among all those other tycoon games. This better not be another Flight Control though.

OK, I purchased it. Sorry for my english but I will try to say some word about it.

Graphics are well done. Usage is very good and clear. At the beginning you have the choice to play either for several years or up to a level of money. There are three AI opponents (you can play against easy, normal or hard AI players) ...

The game seems to be very complex - but clear and well done.

During the game you have several Save Game Slots, so you can save your game whenever you want or you can play different games the same time.

The only thing I am missing is a tutorial. If you are a beginner in that genre it is hard to find into the game.

If you like this genre, just buy it, you can't go wrong!

Update: After playing it now 90 minutes I have to say it is really a great simulation ... before that one I played Ports of Call but this one is much better.

By the way: In the options screen is a five page short tutorial, so I have to correct myself!

For that price it is a must have for simulation fans!
