The one thing I don't like so much is when a dragon comes along that's just a recolour of an existing design, like air/sandstorm or earth/dodo. I didn't mind so much with the Leap Year dragon, as the gold hues look good on the rainbow dragon's body, but most of the recolours aren't that special.

Dodo and Sandstorm are/were hidden dragons so I think they're recoloured to give an indication of their parentage before they're in the market.

People on wiki have reported successes with all the air hybrids + earth. Snow, Sandstorm, Blazing, Sonic.. even a Panlong. I'm sticking with Chrome for the short fail waits & high resale value.

I downloaded Tribez right after Jazbo posted, but I'm afraid to open it yet!

Well I have since tried earth/fog twice again, then earth/blazing twice, hurried shortest fail up and just tried earth/snow....nope....have used 10 gems total to hurry two fails, (was just before bed, so I could try two more)
Not using anymore, it's so easy to do once youve had a decent amount of fails....

Might try earth/Panlong next, otherwise back to earth/chrome due to shorter fail times and decent money to sell

Sorry cant give you any Dodo tips as I'm also very unsuccessful and think I will be starting to rant very soon!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally got a 16hr for Dodo in the EBI

After a gazillion fails with earth+chrome....and always getting chromes as the fail...I decided to bump the earth to be higher level than the chrome. And it worked earth 13. Chrome 10

Just tried earth/sonic....24 hr fail, so unwanted crystal on its way and cave out of action
Think I will go back to earth/chrome....or I might try for a second steel for a mini break...decisions, decisions....
