Private Joe iPad2 - a retro 2D shooter v1.1 [by hotBazooka studios ]

Hi guys,

my name is Ben, i'm an indie game developer based in Indiana. Have been working hard on this game the past 8 months. It feels very good to finally see the game in action. Hope you guys try it out, rate, and offer me some feedback.

Future work: I shall incorporate any interesting features that you guys suggest for the next update. Feel free to brainstorm something cool for the game!

Important: Game works best on iPad2, iPhone4, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 2G/3G. I'm trying to fix problems on the iPad1 for the next update.

Just tried it and like it so far. The sound and visuals bring back a lot of memories. Two things you might wanna work on is control buttons placement option and some interface lift.

It seems good. You would have to add iCade support. It would be nice

Nice chiptune, sweet pixel graphics.

Mirroring the joypad (pad in the rights side and buttons in left) is annoying, making it the standard and not changable is downright crazy.

Just look at a normal controller or make the buttons and pad movable. This makes no sense in my opinion.

Edit: just saw the iPhone thread. Good to know you are changing the controls, reinstalling when that happens.
