HOLY SNOT that looks amazing. Sold!

Gotta love the doujin shmups and their crazy styles.

I just wish it had relative touch for movement controls, but I guess I'll wait and try it.

Oh, and Game Center would be nice. OpenFeint is cool though.

Wow! This came out of nowhere and looks really polished; also love the art style. Can't wait to try it, although it doesn't look like it's bullet-hell, which is a shame because the graphics would fit perfectly. Also, is it only boss battles?

Waiting for: Chaos Rings II, Phoenix Wright 123
I will always love: Kairosoft and CAVE Co. Ltd., Capcom, Godzilab, Simogo
Feel free to add me on Gamecenter; I'm Kirbychewy!
Dodonpachi is no longer my favorite iOS game.

Game Impressions

Gameplay: Defeat boss after boss in a side-scrolling doujin bullet-hell shmup. The bosses have a variety of weapons, and each iteration feels different, and not just a larger version of the previous. Articulate parts and homing missiles keep you on your toes. One interesting thing that differentiates this from other shmups, is that your bullets will cancel enemy bullets/missiles. This lends a nice risk/reward factor, when deciding whether you should charge up that big laser.

Graphics: Clean anime style, with animated characters and bosses. The scenery is just generic clouds (at least for the first 20 levels), although I wish that cool city scene from the menu and tutorial was shown more. Framerate is good, even with a lot going on.

Sound: Music is a bit repetitive, but the whole thing sounds very reminiscent of a Saturday-Morning cartoon.

Controls: Not as good as they should be. The joystick is not ideal for shmups on iOS, and this one also feels like it slows down or catches around the bottom 1/5th of the play area. You can circle around the entire boss, which makes me wish you could shoot backwards. Also, the hitbox for your character is definitely not clear. I think it's around the head, but am still not entirely sure of the exact dimensions. It's not small either.

Content: Lots of bosses, 3 different attack types, OpenFeint leaderboards.
