Hint for M39: Using just a rock and a blue is possible but pretty hard. There is an easier solution with two blues.

Does that mean my idea for the rock making it around can work, but just takes huge luck?

As for the two blues, I'm looking at that now thinking it involves using a ricochet and getting one blue to blow up the other high enough. haven't succeeded though.

Update: Got the two blues to work with a small change to my strategy. Working on the better method. Thanks.

Good work on the 2 blues. Now for the extra 2000. Just throw the rock and blue in there a gazillion times and its yours... And the best bet is on the purple ball to do the monster in, not the rock. Anyway huge luck needed

I got the rock to fly over once - but it just rolled down with no power to knock the monster off. Question: Do you just throw both on top of the blew box? Or do you knock the other box over first?

My approach has been to usually knock the other box over with the blue, which then falls down to blow up the blue from underneath - but getting rock on top of the blue box in between. Sometimes I try launching it late enough so that is is still above the box when the other explodes. And sometimes I just throw both on top of the blue box (leaving the other alone). Except when I used two blues, I've never been able to get an explosion to release the big blue ball.

Got 5000 more on M6. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it takes me a huge number of shots before I get it to stop at just the right place - this time on my second shot so I still have to try to get it on my first.

Back in 14th place. Real battle back on forth there! Still working on the others with no success at all on P61 and no further success on the others. Sure would like to tie some more records too - just to give me fewer to even consider working on.

And back down to 15th! That guy sure got going ever since I passed him. Before that, he was either not changing at all or not by much - but I'd see him on the "today" list so he was always active.

Still working on the PJ and MC levels that were a particularly big problem for me, but I've improved or maxed out on some.

Also looking at FM now with these being the biggest mysteries:

F35: I have just 27,000

F36: Also 27,000

F42: Just 21,000. Suspect it is a really tricky timing issue that I just haven't found.

That's all I've had a chance to check again tonight, but I know I have other bad ones on this island.

That is definitely not encouraging! There are a few levels where even though I know what has to be done, I can't come close to doing it. Not to bad if it is a tough shot, but just takes one. Hate it when it has multiple steps and each is almost luck.

Yea! Got F35. Pain in the you know where! Basically adjusted the angle I was using. Slower process since every round I have to try to line it up the same, but ended up with 48,520.

Gives me a little cushion (33k) over the guy who keeps passing me. Maybe this lead will last for more than a few hours!

Finished looking for the worst ones on FM:

F49: 32,000. Looks like lots of options. I either haven't hit the right one or maybe I have, but just can find the right "spots".

F53: 32,945. One of those I can't imagine how people do better.

F61: 32,000. Another that looks obvious, but more is possible.

My cold is just killing me. Only played for a few minutes. Pretty bad when I don't have the energy to play a little game!

I think I'm going to alter my strategy, at least for awhile. While I've picked up a good number of points before getting sick, I have almost never tied a high score in all that time and I really would like to make my list of lower scores get shorter. It does feel good to play a level and then, when looking at the next one to try to match, be able to jump over a bunch of levels!

Ones with hit bonuses I rarely can match the bonus others have gotten - though I set a few myself on those. So I'm going to be going through the levels again when I get some energy back and look for ones I don't think require hit bonuses that I still can't solve. I figure those may, on average, be more straight-forward (I know some aren't that I've already played). I also figure that if I haven't figured out a level like that, maybe some hints will help me with other levels.

I really hope I can find some that, once I know the strategy, I can see them as really easy! Like the one I did today for the hit bonus, once I saw it, I couldn't believe I ever missed it before.

I did add a mere 723 points from that level. Nothing to alter any standings.
