Impulse bought it because of the mention of Lost Vikings (one of my favourite ever games) in the "Coming tonight" post on the main page. I've finished the tutorial and first of 3 chapters. Initial impressions are a tad disappointing... it doesn't feel as polished as, say, Toki Tori or more recent platformers such as Storm in a Teacup (eg when the animals are walking up a slope they remain flat so their back legs are in the air and their front legs are underground, and some of the animations are a bit jerky). The levels so far have been very easy - only took ~10min to get this far.
Maybe the next two chapters are better - I'll post again when I finish them. |
