Avelon once was a home of colorful utopia where three talented painters named Haden, Steezy and Moochew painted pictures for all creatures day and night. On one fateful day, an unknown beast created a storm and blew away all traces of color. The world was only left with a murky grey which saddened all its inhabitants.

In order to save the island, the three painters started their journey to search for them, and their attempts rewarded with their homeland regaining whatever they found.

This rescue journey, however, posed dangers and challenges to these painters.
They now need your help to get across various obstacles and conquer evil to recover the radiant colors of Avelon. They can use their wisdom, skills, and teamwork as their weapon.

Impulse bought it because of the mention of Lost Vikings (one of my favourite ever games) in the "Coming tonight" post on the main page. I've finished the tutorial and first of 3 chapters. Initial impressions are a tad disappointing... it doesn't feel as polished as, say, Toki Tori or more recent platformers such as Storm in a Teacup (eg when the animals are walking up a slope they remain flat so their back legs are in the air and their front legs are underground, and some of the animations are a bit jerky). The levels so far have been very easy - only took ~10min to get this far.

Maybe the next two chapters are better - I'll post again when I finish them.
