My kids absolutely love this game, but the difficulty just went through the roof too fast and both of them have asked me to delete the game from their iPods because they are too frustrated.
IMO, the game should be a bit easier. Edit: it's worse than I thought. The easiest way to win almost every level is to spam the cheap combo tower and completely ignore the expensive single color towers. Did anybody playtest this for balance? Last edited by Ubisububi; 10-09-2011 at 09:56 PM.. |

i agree, at the least this game should have different difficulty levels. it's fine for TD veterans, but the jelly theme implies this game is kid-friendly.

I DID playtest this as a beta tester and pointed out this exact imbalance issue deliberately. Looks like it isn't fixed though. Apparently it will be in the next update.

The GeoDefense games really set the bar for me with TD games. And this game just doesn't hit the mark for me. Fixed tower placement really bugs me for one thing, and the red/blue mechanic doesn't really add anything for me.
The simplicity and the cutesy graphics would make this a good choice for kids if they ramped down the difficulty, but beyond that, I think there are better choices for the TD itch. |

Don’t agree. Difficulty balance was totally different in the BETA version but it seems we need to push a little bit more to find perfect formula.

true, the beta versions was totally different from the final release. i played it everyday, 3-4hours a day so i can tell you. bout the difficulty balance i found out that this is just not everybody TD, i can get gold pass on every stage(only one stage left with 2 diamonds missing)
