High Flyer Death Defyer HD is certainly one of the most unique games Ive had the chance to play on my iPad, I personally cant even think of another game to compare this to, and that fact had me intrigued throughout the quick comic book style introduction."

The best feature of the game is the virtual skydiving as well as the attention to level design. I took High Flyer Death Defyers for a spin and was surprised at the level of entertainment it provided. Indie developers such as Game Mechanic Studios are a true source of innovation.

I really like its scope, it is an iOS game that's really trying to do something different, something really fun, and look really good doing it.

The musics quite good: it wouldnt be out of place in an intense scene in an action movie, and combines nicely with sound effects such as air whooshing by.

The game takes place in the post-apocalyptic world where the whole human population lives in the cities that are high in the sky, and there is a group of skydiving explorers that search for new cities and treasures.

I love the concept of this game."

The constant free fall mechanic is entertaining, with your hero spinning downward and the cloudy skies blurring past you. As it is, High Flyer Death Defyer looks good, plays well, and brings originality to the arcade genre.

Rating: A Must Buy

This lovely game will perk you up because youre not on a plane or a helicopter when playing this game. Youre not even using a kite. Instead, youre strapped to a jetpack for the flight of your life!

The most appealing part of this game concept is that almost everyone with a spirit of adventure would love to go fly ala Iron Man or a super cartoon character. Heres your chance!

This is a must-download game for $5.99.

Looks really fun, would love to try, and don't mind paying $6 for quality games, but I have too big of a back log. I thing launch sales go a long way to selling the game, would have been nice if ere was a launch sale for this one.

Anyways I'll keep my eye out for this one. Would love to see someones take on this if they get it for the iPad

I'm with Karma. I'm in it for half off, AT LEAST. It really does look like a novel game, though, despite the anime-like figures which are not my cuppa (surprised no one thought of a parachuting game before).

It kind of bugs me that "defyer" is spelled wrong.

Picking this up and that unreal game tonight. Note to devs if you don't expect us to be cheap asses then make your iPad versions universal, this version not being universal almost made me say screw this game until a sale. Matter of fact the more I think about it, i just might wait for a sale since I will be buying both versions now anyway. Not normally a cheapo, but I also dont enjoy senseless spending.
