Any improvements to UI speed? The brief pauses, such as when switching from the economy screen to the galaxy view, get kind of annoying after a while.

Are you running on an iPad3? I've had reports from players the loading the retina graphics causes longer than otherwise loading between screens. We still have a bit of time left in the beta, I'll add it to the whipping post to see what can be done.

There are AI speed improvements in this one (the amount of time it takes the AI to process between turns).

You can form trade pacts and research pacts. You can forge alliances, non-aggression treaties. Make demands for money, tributes, planets, technology. You can also straight up gift those things.

I held a roundtable on the topic before some months back; lots of good feedback for the implementation, and so far the testing group has been enjoying it.

I get the same result on both my iphone 4 and ipad 3. I'm not sure what you mean by load times. The initial loading before the game starts is quite fast. The lag I'm referring to is when navigating the menus and returning to the main galaxy view screen.

It's just a very minor annoyance. Starbase Orion is by far the best 4x game on ios, in my opinion.

Cool. Certainly in late game it can get slower going to/from the empire screen. If you have a specific game that exemplifies it, you can submit it as a bug report and I'll take a look. Maybe add a note to it saying which transition seems the most painful.

I'd bought the game a while ago when diplomacy was announced played a game but decided to wait until the update to get more into it. Now it's time

One of the best iOS games and the best 4X on iOS just got even better and even more complete!
