And also because they wanted to sell a new version.

Which is fair to me. Galaxy on Fire 2 is a fantastic game, and a lot of work (and therefore, money) went to the HD version. Lots of new assets.

Can't wait for my Valkyrie HD freebie.

You should buy Galaxy on Fire 2 HD.

Valkyrie is an add-on, an expansion pack if you will. It's a new campaign and starts at the end of the original one, adding a few new things like new ships, itens, weapons, etc.

The add-on is available for the SD version of Galaxy on Fire 2, but not yet for the HD version (the one you will be buying), which is schedule for this Q1.

The Lite version you've been playing is from the SD version of GoF2. The HD version looks much, much better, but has no lite version to try.

Thank you. I have played the lite version a few times this past year because I have seen so many great things about this game but it never clicked with me. For some reason I tried it again this week and I love it.

Glad I bought the HD version now. Wasn't sure as I already had the SD version but definately glad I did.

So, to get Valkarie free, I will need to have both installed on the device? Presumably, I can install the SD version just before I update with Valkarie or should I install it back on the Ipad now?

hmmm space is precious lol.

Yeah, get the SD redownloaded and re-unlock Valkyrie before getting Valkyrie HD. You don't need to have it all the time. I'm keeping the SD version on my device for the save files :P

It's good to hear that Valkerye will also come with an icloud sync.

Although I love this game, I wouldn't want to play this game through again for the 11th time lol.

I have the original version with Valkyrie purchased but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. When I got my iPad 2, I remembered this HD version, and looked into it, and obviously saw that Valkyrie hasn't been included yet. I just have a couple questions:

Does the Valkyrie add-on add new things to the original campaign, like ships and other weapons, or just the Valkyrie campaign?

Also, when is Valkyrie coming to the HD version?

Not if you have GOF2 (SD) already. After unlocking Valkyrie HD you can delete GOF2 (SD) from your device.

So essentially I just need to reinstall the SD version click the restore purchase button (or whatever it's called) for Valkyrie. Then I can unlock it for free in the HD version and I can get rid of the SD version? If so, sounds great.
