Stupid question. If you have the SD version the. Buy the HD version you get Valkyrie free but I take it you don't need to leave the SD version on the phone?
Is it worth it, I have a 4S.

The HD version gives you an option to choose the resolution. You can choose SD, full retina, and a middle option made for iPad 2 (it's better, but not retina). Maybe its defaulted to the lower resolutions? It looks really sharp on my iPad 3

Your right, thanks. I initially went in the options and it showed it was at full hd but I moved it down then back up and restarted. The text now looks like its retina.

I came here to complain. I saw the news on toucharcade for a new extension of the game. I finished it already some months ago, and I really loved it. So I bought the HD version, now that I have a shiny new iPad, restored the Valkyrie extension, and started playing again.

Everything went fine, until I started doing trade again. I'm really, really pissed. Now there's now way to make money fast, cause the prices aren't what they used to be (higher "buy price", lower "sell price"). That's a gamedesign decision, ok, my traditional trade route between Pan and Wolf Reiser doesn't make money anymore. But what was also changed, is that you can buy credits ingame...

So guys, the last time I checked your game isn't a f2p, cause, you now, it's not free... Making everything to add to the grind time, and adding IAP for credits, it pisses me off. A lot. I saw there's way to do business with Loma, but seriously, crippling the trade, adding IAP ?

No thanks. Really disapointed, this was a great game last time i played it, it still is, but I just hate the way things go in the app store.

Well, the Wolf Reiser and Pan thing was a cheat that everyone was using with the organs, so of course it was deleted. I bought the HD version some months ago and I managed to buy the Mantis after some hours playing without buying any credits IAP. I can't see why you say that this game is now a FTP game. You know that there are a lot of ways to make fast money in the game.

My point is that beside this, I saw that when you buy something often, sell it often in the same place, the prices are adjusting a lot faster than before. And I didn't have time yet to explore a lot of stations, but I'm under the impression that ALL the prices have seen adjustments, in order to add length to the grinding. I don't play to grind, I play in order to have fun. I saw that the Loma station has high prices, so I'll buy some booster in order to avoid the pirates and the tax, but I'm really curious to know how you managed to make money fast, as trading seems really crippled.

You can still earn heaps of cash by trading, just takes longer. Before, it was basically, THE thing to earn cash from. Now people can go back to battles and looting, completing missions, or still trading. There are still profitable items which aren't organs, like turrets etc.

That's exactly my point. I typically don't like JRPG, freemium games, because I've got no interest in the grinding part of games. What I saw after a couple hours playing, is that it's (imho) a LOT longer to make cash, and in the same time, coincidence, they added IAP to get credits.

I for sure haven't played long enough to be able to tell if there's no way of making money fast, but what I see doesn't please me. Did they improve the money you make in missions ?

I NEVER mine asteroids, I always destroy the cargo ships I find and I do some secondary missions. I only trade with the loot from other ships.

I have never done any trading at all. I own all the top ships and I have millions in surplus money, and it has all been earned through missions and random space battles, then selling the items I collect to space stations.
