Maybe Let's Golf if he is a golf fan.

Trivial Pursuit. Tiger Woods is a little bit on the "serious golfer" side and I don't think your 9 year old is a serious golfer (if he is, I'm impressed). If you want a golf game for your child, try Let's Golf instead because the art seems more appealing to little kids. Some other games include Flight Control, Rolando, Siberian Strike, and Oregon Trail.

You're getting your son an app for his birthday? Get him a bike or something, you don't give a 9 year old 200 megabytes worth of coding to celebrate another year of life.

I would agree with this. At 9, he would probably have much more fun with Let's Golf! than Tiger Woods. Personally, I think LG is a much better game (flame if you will!) and easier to learn. For a 9 year old, it is the best golf game on the App Store.

Also, I would recommend World of Tunes and Doodle Jump.

+1 Seriously, especially when the 9 year old is your kid...

A 9 year old needs a pizza party with his friends and a new bike, basketball, or console game. An iPhone game is not a good idea, you can get that for him anyday.

Ummm, guys, I'm assuming this is not the only gift he's getting his son, just the only one relevant to these forums, calm down

Same here... I mean I don't think he would post here asking what type of bike he should get for his kid
