Wow, this again looks a lot like "Cursed Treasure"... At least from what I can tell from the screenshots and the description - from the Screenshots even the Level-Design seems similar. This is not a bad thing - actually I LOVE the Cursed Treasure TD mechanic - but the guys from Iriy Soft better be quick with their iPad-Version, because more and more TD Games seem to borrow their original additions to the TD Formular

I guess I am gonna get this anyway, looks way too good. Even if its basically a reskinning of the mentioned game. If I am wrong... SORRY!

Link to "Cursed Treasure" Flash-Game.

Edit: Not (yet) available in German AppStore

thanks nathanquest, does look similar, guess there's a lot of java/flash td's out there, too bad (for me) that i never feel like playing them in a browser....

but that is more reason for me to pick up an android tablet sooner or later...

Does anyone who is familiar with Cursed Treasure care to comment on how similar this game is to CT(i.e. - is it a direct ripoff like Star Defense Mission was for the ipad).

Ok, I played it for a few levels... so just a few comments:

* The mechanic during play, the towers, are VERY similar to CT
* Even specials and clearing spots to build towers is there
* There is NO speeding up of the critters (annoying)
* It LACKS the upgrading system of CT in between the levels
* Additional money can be collected by tapping on coins appearing
* The graphics are cute and nice, not overwhelming though. The screenshots really show how it looks. Not too much animation here.
* There seem to be only 15 levels (it also says so in the description)

So it is not such a mean and direct ripoff of CT, but is similar enough to see where it comes from. They kinda simplified the game mechanics (too much).

What I loved about CT was especially the upgrading-system in between the levels, and that is missing here. What stays is a nice and cute-looking TD game that is worth a buck in my opinion, but still with a lot to be desired.

I have fun with it, but still it leaves this bead taste in my mouth for having the feeling I am playing a ripoff that stripped the most fun mechanic of the original...

And again: No speeding up? Please?
