The new thing to differentiate from the first one is that this one has levels

yep, Puss in Boots or not

I wish every good "endless" game would get a level treatment

Don't worry, I'm actually a fan of Angry Birds.
Completely new game... is stretching things a little don't you think?

but you're right, I've read very little detail about changes etc. I'm just very cynical about these kind of 'sequels, prequels and movie tie-ins' ....Unless it's SIGAMES and Football Manager, where updated team talks and media control are enough to get my yearly

They still have seperate iPhone and iPad versions.
I hate to buy the same game twice.

No buy for me

It should be a standard feature that you can turn on/off in-game music and sound effects separately in all games

How many free updates does HalfBrick have to dish out before they finally decide to release a new version of the game?

As far as i'm concerned, they have delivered far past the "obligation line" in terms of giving paying customers what they deserve (which IMO, has been a LOT for the measly price of admission).

The app could have been a mere re-skin with a few additional blades, swipe effects and random glitz but, HB took the extra step ahead yet again and added what seems to be several fun variations of their core game. To those who are posting comments without realizing what this game is, please check out the video and come back.

And I hate to pay more for a universal version if I play it on iPad only anyway.

Will that end in all games coming in 3 flavours? Not that I had any problems with that, but isn't there a more elegant solution, apple?

Agree with this, but do think they really dropped the ball in not making this universal.
