Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots (by Halfbrick Studios)

Ugh, bought this at 11.50 and now it's 12.30 >_> Was hoping for an early night so that I could get up in the morning and do some study but I guess not! (Especially considering the fact that Mage Gauntlet was also released and I just bought that)

Alsoooo.... HAPPIEST MOMENT IN MY LIFE (well not really) when I topped the leaderboards on the normal mode!!! There were only three scores there including mine, but that doesn't matter ^_^ Think I'm like 25th now because I decided to try out the other mode, which is AMAZING by the way and justifies the new app!!!

At the moment my only complaint would be the link to the Puss in Boots website on the main screen :S But I guess that they can't help that considering that it's Puss in Boots themed, although I can imagine it getting annoying a few months from now once the movie is forgotten about.

Finally a swipe and slash game with new things, at least they added tons of thing to enhance the gameplay rather than endless new blade or wallpaper.
0.99 for iPhone version is pretty good buy for this quality, a lot better than the old fruit ninja.

It might not have been Halfbricks call to make. It's possible that Dreamworks specifically wanted it released as two apps to increase profits

My boys will love this (and I will too! ). Love Puss in boots and Fruit Ninja.

Also, Half-Brick is an amazing company and give you so much gameplay value for the price. As mentioned, they usually follow up with updates consistently with most of their games. I'm happy to support them and can't wait for this one!

FN plays better on the smaller format anyway. I just play the phone version at 1x on the ipad. The bigger screen just doesn't have the right feel...

Hope that video can show everyone it isn't a re-skin and that debate can end now! LOTS of new mechanics and LOTS of new elements. Bouncing, stationary bombs, levels, etc. From the description, even the "normal" Fruit Ninja mode seems different!

What turned me off Fruit Ninja fast was that it had no real objectives.... This new version seems much more like what i will enjoy ^^
