Will wait for some impressions, but will probably buy this. I don't like the movie tie-in, though.

Me neither. I don't get it. It's Fruit Ninja with a cat on the menu. I don't understand the connection between slicing fruit and Puss in Boots. Is it because he has a sword? That's kind of a stretch. But, it's Halfbrick and it's Fruit Ninja with a new gametype, so I suppose it's worth checking out.

It's a game that's meant to be fun, why does there need to be a connection?

Not as if a ninja is any more likely to slice fruit than a cat.

Great devs, another great game.

I think so. And I dont see any stretch there.

And what is the problem with movie tie-ins, just beside that they usually turn out bad?

Enh, I have to give some credit that the tie-in here makes a little sense.

Puss n' Boots is supposed to be based on Zorro:

Zorro was renown for his precision with his fencing blade (slashing "Z"s, fighting off hordes of baddies simultaneously, etc.).

I suppose. It's still a fun game, so I guess that's all that matters.

It bugs the crap out of me that they tried to fit the whole title on the springboard, though. I hate having titles with the ellipsis in the middle. I don't understand why more devs don't pay attention to the space limitation there and shorten their titles appropriately.

Hey Gang!

I'm a bit on the fence on this one. Does the traditional mode keep stuff like the end of game style bonuses and or fun power-ups like the frozen bananas?
