So that would make JB4 impossible. You couldnt even get to where the very first checkpoint is

I've passed those on the first try a fair few times.
I stopped accelerating before i get to the first drop and then go from one unstable block to the next taping the back button a little bit.
Each block falls forward while im on top of it and gets me to the next.
I only accelerate a little bit towards the last few.
To get over them easily is all about having the correct speed as you get there.

not a great time :/ Ah well. Got to the last bits at 2:31, then tried to get thought eh rest of the time >.<

I gave up trying to get over them, and Everytime just reversed and tried to jump the three pillars, and it actually worked, kinda.

I think the top 10... or maybe 25 people on the leaderboard would have mostly passed levels without checkpoints for the best times. I don't think anyone else apart from these people will try for the no-checkpoint leaderboard.

It's basically like introducing a no-crash objective in all the levels.
