Hmmm I definitely enjoy the "mini golf" / "putt putt" golf games more than a full fledged game on a handheld and this reminds me of Mario Golf and Hot Shots Golf all rolled into one mini version. Definitely this crept into my "must look at this closer" list!

Waiting on impressions. Bought and deleted several mini-golf games already.

I know what you mean. Don't hesitate a second longer. This game is outstanding. Fantastic controls (1:1 swipe mechanic as can be seen in the video) and solid physics. Really nice presentation and everything runs smoothly (iPad 2.)

The swipe control is the best of any golf game in the app store. That being said, I am not finding the characters, theme or courses very appealing. The game just has a really odd look to it. Oh...and close up at the holes is pretty ugly, more like jagged hole.

I ended up snaggin this one last night, and just had a chance to play it a couple minutes ago.
It's pretty nice. The only thing I would like to see changed is when you lift your finger up off the screen, your shot direction changes just a little little bit, making it VERY hard to make the ball go EXACTLY where you want it to.... which, I assume, is a pretty big part of the game for everyone. |
