April 30, 2009 - Outpost Kaloki was enough of a hit for Ninja Bee Games on XBLA that the game maker has sought out an additional screen to host the lighthearted sci-fi resource management game. Next week, Kaloki Adventure will appear on the App Store, offering go-go gamers the commander's seat for a series of space stations that must be constantly upgraded to meet the needs of the cosmos.

Kaloki for the iPhone comes with 14 missions, each with a set of well defined goals -- but meeting those is not going to be easy. The first few stages of the game act almost as playable tutorials, introducing you to the concepts you need to master in order to win the day... and make a shipton of space bucks. Orbital stations with multiple arms await your orders to install pods and upgrades. You must pick from a variety of categories, such as power sources, information services, science facilities, and lemonade stands. As ships dock with these modules, money flows into your coffers.

I'll probably get this when I get back home in the summer. I've played the XBLA version, and it's pretty awesome, though it does get quite tricky in later stages.
