WIND UP ROBOTS (Soma Games): Game will be available on the App Store Dec. 15th!

Hey everyone, HapaNinja from Soma Games here: We have been making a lot of games and apps for others but are finally getting around to releasing our own since G: Into the Rain

Wind Up Robots will be coming very soon! We'll update the landing page periodically, but check out the teaser:

ICON FINISHED!

Thanks for all the input on choosing our icon. Seeing as how #2 won by a landslide, we decided to go with it. Here's the final result:

FIRST SCREENSHOTS!

Hey everyone! Here are some in-game screenshots of Wind Up Robots. We're hard at work putting the finishing touches on it and should be submitting to apple very soon, so stay tuned!

Holiday Costume

Since the release is going to be so close to Christmas, we thought we'd do a holiday outfit for our store. Have an opinion? Leave a comment (we'll get a poll up as soon as I can get someone to remove the old one for the icon):

Wind Up Robots looks awesome and I can't wait to play it. I have some experience with Soma Games and their products and can honestly say WUR is going to be really, really great.

Thanks triggywiggy - the last few weeks are always crazy and fun at the same time.
Like today...
We're using Unity 3D (bless their hearts) and we discovered that the best way to make all the physics work reliably was to scale everything up by a factor of 10. A strange little detail that only comes to the front during play testing.

Update

We have added a video we shot (see original post) early on in development. We will post more art soon. The trailer is in production as well.

In addition we are planning some contests with prizes and polls to get your feedback. More on that soon.

New Contest!

Hey everyone, we thought that a fun way to release content would be in the form of a CONTEST!

See the first post (which is where we'll be updating content) and jump in. Winner will get a $15 iTunes gift card. Not too shabby!
