I'm gonna have to go with Paul on this one.
Got it day one. Ranked to 90 very early (about 5th to do it if I remember right) because I loved the online part of the game. Only finished campaign just before I deleted it a month or so back.
Hackers totally and utterly destroyed the online of it.
Would come back after every update when the hackers were blocked for a few days and have loads of fun.
Then it'd be hacked again and ruined completely.
My advice is just delete it and hope MC4 has better hack prevention when it comes out.
And it pains me very much to say that because it is very good online without hackers.

The wierd thing is that gameloft hasn't released a trailer yet, although last year they released the first MC3 trailer late August.

I think it pretty much has. I deleted it from my iPod, and moved back to MC2. Great game.

People who say that it is completely unplayable are somewhat exaggerating. I would say I see a hacker maybe 1/5 of the time. Most of the gams I play don't in fact have hackers. I understand that's not everyone's experience, but I have played this game heaps, and I still really enjoy it. Rip73 please do not be discouraged by what you hear here. Try to get the body armor perk, and the running perk, it will make things easier for you early on. You'll soon figure out what works best for you.

Thanks for the advice but I have been playing it since day one. Was the third person to hit max rank and stood on the leaderboard top 5 for a long time. Had a nice competition going on early on with a couple of other guys to stay in the (legitimate unhacked) number one spot.

Not being smart or sarcastic with that now, I do appreciate that you are giving solid good advice. So if I come across as a bit of a smart ass, that's not what I meant.

I am glad that you're not coming across the hackers much but after putting nearly 500 hours into it, I wish I could say the same. It is really great fun when there are no hackers in a match.

It is possible that the hackers got sick of their spam killing as well but the range of hacks, from invisible no reload rpg guys to the speed hack all headshot guys just ruined it for me.

Thanks for the encouragement though but I think I'll wait and hope MC4 has better hack prevention.
